This is a very interesting article with a lot of history about the sport of tennis.  It also includes a lot of information about the professional game, which is very helpful to read if you’re an amateur like me, and enjoy watching the professional tournaments.  I always had difficulty keeping up with who was ahead and the information in this article helps explain a lot of that.

I wish I had this type of information available to me when I was younger and playing tennis.  The only thing I knew about the game was how to keep score.  So I just played primarily for the exercise and the love of the sport.  It was something I could do with my two sons that we all enjoyed.
