Thank goodness for the internet and articles such as this one that educates us amateurs on the art of gardening. Many people believe that gardening is very simple and anyone can do it. But that just isn’t so. It is something that has to be learned, and reading articles such as this one is a much cheaper way to learn than buying a lot of gardening books.
The content of this posting is very interesting as well as educational. It not only guides a person through step by step, on what needs to be done to provide the proper soil for raising tomatoes, but it also explains why, and the results if proper soil preparation is not accomplished. After reading this, I believe I could raise some very good tomatoes, and plenty of them.

Growing up in a small town, I remember spending Saturday afternoons at the movies. My dad would drop my brothers and me off at our favorite store to shop for our weekly toy. Then we would walk over to the movie theater to spend the afternoon eating popcorn, drinking soda pop, and watching our favorite movie. Nobody thought anything about leaving their children to walk around town and go to the movies alone back then. Small town America was a safe place to live. And we were able to spend an afternoon like this for a whopping 25 cents!
Today, you’re lucky to get in the door of a movie theater for $5.00 if you do during the matinee showing. Any other time it will cost you about $10.00 to get in the door. Once you’re inside, the cost keeps going up. A small container of popcorn and small drink can cost you over $5.00. However the cost for refreshments can go as high as $15/person, depending on what size popcorn and drink you buy. Then there’s the candy and other goodies that the children will demand if you are with your family. So an afternoon out with for a family of four to watch a matinee movie can set you back a whopping $60 to $75!
Thank goodness for the creation of the DVD player where parents can rent movies and show them at home with their children, especially for the very young ones. Children under the age of six are usually too young to sit for two hours in a movie theater, and are sometimes frightened by all the hype and loud noises. So for the price of the movie rental, homemade popcorn, and drinks bought at your local supermarket, this same family time can be enjoyed for a mere $5 - $10.

First and foremost, as a taxpayer, it is of the utmost importance that we know what our rights are when it comes to paying taxes and qualifying for a refund. This is especially true if the IRS says we owe them even more money than we have already paid through the deductions on our gross paychecks. By the time you add up the federal tax, the state tax, the city tax, and sometimes the county tax, we’re lucky to get more than 55% as a net pay. Then on top of that, we have to pay sales tax, fast-food tax, excise tax, personal property tax, and on and on.
Once we understand our rights as taxpayers, it is also very important that we protect those rights. According to the IRS, they will not disclose our information to anyone EXCEPT those who are authorized by law to have it. However, they do not define WHO is authorized by law to have our information. But they do tell us why they ask for certain information and how they will use it. Then they tell us what happens to us if we refuse to provide that information.
If you end up owing money to the IRS when filing this year’s tax return, you can look up Publication 594 (IRS Collection Process), to find out how the IRS collection process works and what your rights and responsibilities are in regards to making your payments. This publication tells you what to do when you owe taxes, it describes what to do if you get a tax bill, and what to do if you think the bill is wrong.
If you cannot make your tax payment in full, Publication 594 also covers how to set up installment payments, how to delay the collection action, and submits offers in compromise. This publication also covers liens and levies, the releasing of liens and levies, and how they can use seizures, sales, and release of property to collect the taxes you owe.
You can also look up Publication 1660 (Collection Appeal Rights), to find out what your collection appeal rights are if you disagree with the IRS.

I have never had much luck with gardening, so I relied on my wonderful neighbors who love to garden to share their booty with me. Over the years, however, I have learned much about gardening, primarily from internet postings such as this one. It is very easy for amateurs, such as me, to either over water my flowers and vegetables, or not water them enough.
This author provides very good information on how and when to water your garden for all types of soil. Some may think that gardening is easy, but it isn’t. However, by following the simple and straight-forward instructions in this article, one can easily learn how to maintain a garden of any type in any type of soil. I look forward to reading more postings from this web-site and learning more about gardening.

Scholars from all over the world publish books and other documents about their studies on what they expect or predict the “Great Tribulation” to be and when they believe it will happen. But as all Christians know, only God knows that, and he’s not telling. God has provided definite information throughout the bible about what the Great Tribulation will be like, and how long it will last (chapters six through eleven in the book of Revelations). But he chose to leave out the part on exactly WHEN it will happen.
The bible tells us that during the seven years of tribulation, there will be more suffering and destruction than any other period of time (past present and future), as we know it. And it will be universal, personal, and final! During these seven years, God will pass judgment on all the nations of the world, beginning with Israel, the “beautiful land.” It will begin with the “Rapture of the Church”, and end with the judgment of the Gentiles (Matthew 25:3146).
Again, knowing WHEN the time of judgment will happen, no one knows. As our government likes to say, they provide information to the citizens on a “need to know basis.” And according to scripture in the bible, God will let us know when we need to know (on his timeframe).
